Privacy policy
How we handle your data when you use HoloKura: what we keep, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Daniel Cortes (Spanish tax ID 53931448J), at Av. Montequinto 8, 41089 Sevilla (Spain), who develops HoloKura under the brand The Junsu Company. Contact: thejunsucompany@gmail.com.
What data we process
Only what the app needs to work:
- Account data: e-mail and, if you sign in with Google, your Google identifier (handled by Google Firebase).
- Your profile: username, display name, avatar, language and preferences, and the name changes you make.
- Your collection: the cards you have and want, in which collections and with which details.
- Scans: which card was recognised and when. We do not keep the photos.
- Usage: the date of your last visit and, if any, your plan.
The photos you scan
To recognise the card, the photo is sent to our server and to Anthropic (the Claude AI model), which only uses it to read the card. We do not keep the photo: it is discarded after recognition. Please avoid photographing people or personal data next to the card.
Why and on what legal basis
To provide the service you ask for (contract): your account, collection, scans and prices.
To improve and protect the app (legitimate interest): aggregated statistics, preventing abuse and fixing errors.
For paid plans and promo codes, when you use them (contract).
Who we share it with
Service providers, under contract and with safeguards:
- Google Firebase (sign-in).
- Anthropic (recognising the card photo).
- Our server provider in the European Union (hosting of the app and database).
Transfers outside the EU
Google and Anthropic may process data in the United States, with the safeguards of European law (standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
While you have an account. If you delete it, we remove your profile, collections and history; we only keep what the law requires (for example, billing data) for the legal period.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use and ask for portability by writing to thejunsucompany@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, aepd.es).
Minors
You must be at least 14 to create an account, or have your parents’ or guardians’ permission.
Cookies and storage
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The app stores on your device what it needs to work (your session and preferences, such as the theme).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will tell you in the app and update the date above.
